NCSR's Experience to Experts advisory group
A key aspect of the NCSR is the commitment to ensuring that the voices of people with experiences of self-harm and/or suicide are central. The Experience to Experts advisory group brings together people with lived experience of self-harm, suicide, and suicide bereavement from across Wales. As a group, they contribute their knowledge, insights, and expertise to shape decision-making throughout all stages of research and NCSR governance.
Facilitated by Samaritans Cymru, the advisory group is co-lead by Neil Ingham (Executive director of Samaritans Cymru) and Dr A. Jess Williams (NCSR PPI lead). Meet some of the group members below and learn more about the expertise they bring to our work.
